Teckna Group have after a comprehensive tender stage and review been awarded the high profile works of developing the office complex for SITA and have now started the works to this project. This 6 month project is part of Teckna Groups continuing involvement in developing this existing Waste to Energy site into a 7MW generating complex powered by renewable energy and now the conversion of the existing building into high specification offices for personnel and visitors to the site. The works require the installation of first floor steelwork to support the new mezzanine floor, creation of window and door access points allowing the building to be altered into high specification offices and continuing the renewable theme we will be utilising the heat from the generator exhausts to provide the heating to the building with Thermaskirt which replaces traditional skirting boards and removes the requirement for radiators so freeing up valuable wall space. As part of the project Teckna Group will provide digester systems for waste water and the installation of a complete surface water drainage system and road installation to provide better access to the site as part of the final works.
