Teckna Group recently completed a new water borehole for a local family company who supply the majority of the North West with Hydroponically grown strawberries at Olive Grove Salads.
To allow them to continue to expand the amount of strawberries grown from approx 10 acres they needed to find a way of supplementing their water supply.
Teckna Group undertook the Hydrogeological report to ascertain the water availabilty from the ground strata below and then designed, drilled and installed a 125mm finished borehole.
On completion the borehole was pump tested and a suitable borehole pump, rising water main, electrics and controls where then installed.
